Okay so this is how you change haircolor in a photo. I'm using photoshopcs3 but this should work with most photoshop programs.
Click here to see what we're going to end up with.
(Note that after each instruction, you can click "here" at the end of the line to see what it looks like.)
First, open up your picture,here.
Next, create a new layer,here.
Name your layer whatever, it doesn't really matter, here.
Choose the color you want to change the hair to. You may have to mess around with this a little depending on the brightness/contrast in the picture, here.
Next select a round brush to cover the bulk of the hair with. here.
Then go into the drop-down list under layers and select "overlay". if this doesn't look real, try switching to soft light, color burn, etc. until you like how it looks, here.
Start coloring in the hair. Try to stay in the lines of the hair as much as possible. Don't wory about frizz or thin ends yet, just color over most of it, here.
Lastly, zoom in and color the ends of the hair that the big brush couldn't get with a much smaller brush, here.
And you're done, your finished product should look somewhat like this.
